PRIVACY NOTICE FOR JOB APPLICANTS

The present Privacy Notice informs you as a job applicant of GAP Société Anonyme Drug Industry, Agisilaou 46, Glyfada, Athens, 17341 (“We”), as a Data Controller, in the context of your employment relationship with us (“Notice”).

Data you provide us with when you apply for a job:
  • Data you provide to us through a third-party job search platform, such as LinkedIn.
  • Data you provide us with when you apply for a job directly on our website (such as the account password that the candidate must create as part of the application process).
  • Data you provide us with in person during the interview, including telephone interview, video calling services or in any other way.
Data you may provide us with when completing a questionnaire or assessment test:
  • Data about your performance and answers to possible proficiency tests, work simulations and psychometric assessments. 

(2) HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

When applying for a position at GAP, you provide us with your personal data in the context of investigating the possibility of entering into an employment contract, including, inter alia, your name, contact details, e-mail address and CV, which we will use and process in order to:

  • Process your application on a general basis or for a specific position.
  • Provide you with job notifications if you are registered to receive them.
  • Answer your questions.   
  • Match your data with the vacancies in GAP. 
  • Improve our recruitment process and activities.
  • Carry out tests to determine your suitability for work.
  • Make informed decisions about your recruitment. 

(3)  WHOM WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH

Access to your personal data is limited to authorized staff who are responsible for examining and managing your employment application. We may share your personal data with third party providers that we use to support our GAP's personnel recruitment and management processes. We ensure that the above-mentioned providers’ commitment with obligations of security and confidentiality of your personal data is equal to those of GAP.

(4) PERSONAL DATA TRANSFER

Your personal data may be transferred and stored outside of European Union or European Economic Area (E.E.A.), including countries that may not have the same level of protection. The Controller generally does not transfer its employees’ data outside the EEA, however it can do so (e.g. through its data processors), when this is deemed necessary for the execution of the contract. In case we transfer your personal data, we ensure that there is an appropriate level of protection corresponding to the level of protection applicable in the EEA and that such a transfer is lawful,  on condition that there is a European Commission's adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards for the protection of personal data are provided, such as corporate binding rules or standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

(5) RETETION PERIOD OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We inform you that we will keep the personal data that you provide us with, for a period of two (2) years from the date of their provision. If your application is accepted, your personal data will be retained as set out in the Data Retention Policy.

(6) YOUR RIGHTS

Without prejudice to applicable law, you have the rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability and objection to the processing of your personal data as well as the right of appeal to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1-3, 11523 Athens, [email protected]).
