Production

GAP gives precedence to the full availability and development of the necessary technical know how and technology to ensure the qualitative superiority of its products.

GAP was the first to import the manufacturing technology and know how for the production of sustained release pellets in Greece .

We then went on to become the first production unit for seamless soft gels, while in 2000 production was expanded to seamed soft gels.

To this date GAP continues to be one of the few European pharmaceutical manufacturers and the only one in Greece producing such pharmaceutical forms.

The GAP complex of production units includes:

• Automated production lines (for tablets, caps, softgel caps, injectables and veterinary products).
• Quality control department with a fully equipped laboratory (microbiological, biological, chemical).
• Packaging department
• Specially designed warehouse space, for the safe storage of raw materials, packaging materials, excipients and finished products.
• Auxiliary areas for the support of production procedures and staff use.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) are fully implemented at the GAP plant and strict control procedures shielding the company's products throughout the production procedure have been developed, from the purchase of raw materials to the final product.
